摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lithium silicate compound capable of producing, easily and in a short time, a high-purity lithium silicate compound having a carbon coating film formed uniformly on the surface thereof; and a lithium silicate compound aggregate obtained thereby; and a lithium ion battery using the same.SOLUTION: In the provided method for manufacturing a lithium silicate compound, a solution of a Si source is mixed with an aqueous solution of a Mn salt and a Li salt so that a (Li : Mn : Si) metal element ratio becomes 1.8-2.2 : 0.9-1.1 : 0.9-1.1 and, after adding and mixing an aqueous solution of an organic acid possessing either intramolecular carboxyl and hydroxyl groups simultaneously or at least two carboxyl groups so that the concentration of the organic acid relative to Li becomes equimolar or less, the obtained aqueous dispersion of metal salt is freeze-dried and subsequently heated in an inert atmosphere or a reducing atmosphere to synthesize a lithium silicate compound having a carbon coating film formed on the surface thereof.</p>
