PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a novel alcohol oxidase; a gene coding the novel alcohol oxidase; a transformant in which the gene is deleted, mutated or expression-suppressed; and a production method of a glycolipid using the transformant.SOLUTION: There are provided: any one of proteins of the following (a) to (c); a gene coding the protein; a transformant in which the gene is deleted, mutated or expression-suppressed; and a production method of a glycolipid using the transformant. (a) A protein comprising a specific amino acid sequence of sequence number of 1, (b) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having identity of 50% or more to the amino acid sequence of sequence number of 1 and having alcohol oxidase activity, (c) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence obtained by deletion, substitution, insertion or addition of one, or two or more amino acids in the amino acid sequence of sequence number of 1, and having alcohol oxidase activity. |
