The purpose of the present invention is to provide a copper foil that has excellent cycle properties and is used as a power collector of a negative electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell. The present invention uses a copper foil characterized in that the amount of strain with a load of 300 MPa of stress after one hour of heating at 300°C is 0.2-0.4%. With this copper foil the amount of strain with a load of 300 MPa of stress after one hour of heating at 300°C is preferably 0.2-0.33%. Also, it is preferable for this copper foil to contain 0.005-0.3 mass% of at least one of molybdenum, tellurium, and titanium.
