<p> Provided is a tilting device for headrests that is easily adapted, even when the shape of a headrest stay is altered. The tilting device for headrests is configured from: a stay connection member (10); a fixed member (20) fixed to the stay connection member (10); a rotary frame (30) axially supported by the fixed member (20); a rotary frame biasing spring (40); a lock plate (50) axially supported by the rotary frame (30); a lock plate biasing spring (60); and a lock release means (70). A lock catch (51) is provided on the lower rear end surface side of the lock plate (50). The central rear surface of the rotary frame (30) serves as a first abutment part (31), and the front surface of the fixed member (20) serves as a first abutted part (21). A lock engaging part (22) for engaging with the lock catch (51) is provided on the rear end side of the upper part of the fixed member (20). When the lock release means (70) is actuated to release the locked state between the lock catch (51) and the lock engaging part (22), the headrest can be tilted forward from a usage position to a stow position.</p> |
