PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated structure capable of reducing shakes of a structure with respect to short-period and long-period earthquake ground motions.SOLUTION: A base-isolated structure comprises: a structure formed of a plurality of structural bodies stacked via an intermediate base isolation layer; a bottom base isolation layer supporting the structure; and a rigidity imparting device which is provided in the intermediate base isolation layer and fixes the intermediate base isolation layer or cancels the fixture so as to decrease or increase the number of mass points of a vibration systems formed of the structural bodies, the intermediate base isolation layer and the bottom base isolation layer. |
