PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer dispersion which is friendlier for the environment.SOLUTION: This invention is related to a liquid developer dispersion for use in a digital printing apparatus. The liquid developer dispersion comprises a non volatile carrier liquid, marking particles and a dispersing compound. The marking particles in the liquid developer dispersion are stabilized during storage, and two phases are formed at fusing. The invention is also related to the use of the developer in a digital printing apparatus and to a method for preparing the liquid developer dispersion.
