AUTOMATIC POSTURE CHANGING BED FOR CORRECTING POSTURE OF OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA PATIENT, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME

The present invention relates to an automatic posture changing bed for correcting the posture of an obstructive sleep apnea patient, which is capable of sensing the obstructed period (apnea period) in the obstructive sleep apnea of a patient who is sleeping and partially changing the horizontal state of the bed, thereby naturally correcting the sleeping posture of the patient and preventing sleep apnea. The automatic posture changing bed comprises: a mattress unit divided into at least two mattresses; a support for supporting the mattress unit; an elevation unit arranged inside the support so as to move each mattress in the upward and downward directions so as to change the posture of the patient in the diagonal direction; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the elevation unit. A patient monitoring unit for detecting the obstruction of the patient is arranged in the vicinity of the mattress unit, and the control unit operates the elevation unit upon detection of the obstruction of the user.
