PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a spectacle lens, in which grooves, projections, etc., can be processed at high precision. SOLUTION: The device comprises a lens processing part to process a lens 100 that is to be the spectacle lens, and a detection part to detect the outer form and/or the size of the lens 100. The lens processing part comprises a tool 41 to form a groove on an edge surface of the lens 100, for example.
