A cigarette which has a tobacco portion comprising a tobacco rod wound with an inside winding paper containing calcium carbonate in an amount of 4 wt % or less and an outside winding paper containing calcium carbonate in an amount of 30 g/m<2> and a combustion adjusting agent in an amount of 3 wt % or more.
