Disclosed is a foldable wire brim hat including: an elastic wire (20) inserted along an edge of a brim (10), in which the elastic wire is twisted into a double twist or a quadruple twist and is again spread; and a light shielding film (11) for sun protection coated on an inner surface of the brim (10), wherein a plurality of compartment lines are formed in form of vortex on the light shielding film (11). In the brim hat of the present invention, in which the wire (20) has a bigger circumference than an outer circumference of the brim (10) so as to tightly maintain the brim (10) in a shape of a saddle in a state where the brim (10), made from a polyester-based or nylon-based synthetic fabric, is spread, the brim hat ameliorates a problem of the brim being easy crumpled and chips off when typical light-shielding coating is coated for preventing a light-shielding function from being reduced, and has effects of maintaining the lifespan of a junction between a brim fabric and a shade as well as inflexible materials for the light shielding film for a long time, since the brim (10) is partitioned into a zigzag form of a vortex so that end portions of the compartment lines are in contact with each other, and thus is repeatedly and uniformly folded along the compartment lines and spread without wrinkles. |
