A method for the online collection and distribution of retail and shopping related information includes receiving and storing, at a server, retail product data related to a product offered for sale at a retailer, and receiving links to content generated by a content-generating user. The method also includes identifying a link from the plurality of links that corresponds to content associated with the retail product offered for sale at the retailer and including the identified link 214 in a web page 230 that displays the product data. The server may analyze the retail product data from the retail circular data and compare the particular retail products with the particular retail products discussed, described, reviewed, or mentioned in the content generated by the user. The retail product data may comprise retail circular data for viewing by shoppers and the user generated content includes personal experiences of the user with the product. |
