PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging carton and its blank, which suppress the uplifting of a bottom plate of a bottom-lock type carton, while securing a volume for accommodating articles in the interior of the carton. SOLUTION: The bottom-lock type packaging carton is formed by folding a plate-like blank 200 to be assembled, with its blank 200 comprising: three pieces or more of plates 50 to 56 for lateral face connected in sequence via crease line 60 in top-to-down direction (to be hereafter called a "first crease line"); plates 70, 72, 76, 78 for bottom face connected via horizontal crease lines 62, 74 (to be hereafter called "second crease lines"); and an engagement step difference part 80 (82), installed on at least one plate 70 (72) for bottom face, to be engaged, at the time of assembling of the packaging carton, with other plate 72 (70) for bottom face, while having at least one piece of bending promotion crease line 86 extending toward the second crease line side 68 from the engagement step difference part 80 (82) on the plate 70 (72) for bottom face that is equipped with the engagement step difference part 80 (82), thus constituting the packaging carton and its blank.
