Disclosed are a system for checking attendance using short-range wireless communication such as Bluetooth and a method for providing the same. According to one aspect of the present invention, an attendance checking system providing method includes the steps of: receiving, by an attendance checking system, a response message from each responder terminal which is at least a part of a plurality of terminals of users included in an attendance checking target group, wherein the response message transmitted from the responder terminal includes a list of user terminals located adjacent to the responder terminal; adding, by the attendance checking system, the user terminals located adjacent to the master terminal to the attendant terminal group on the basis of the response message of the master terminal; and repeatedly adding, by the attendance checking system, user terminals located adjacent to each new terminal to the attendant terminal group on the basis of the response message of each new terminal added to the attendant terminal group. |
