<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of saving power consumption alone, and a display control method and a display control program thereof. <P>SOLUTION: Agreement or disagreement between per-pixel color information sent from a host device 2 frame by frame and color information of the directly preceding frame is determined by comparison per pixel in identical positions on frames to detect a pixel where an agreement state of color information continues over a preliminarily set time, and control data corresponding to this pixel is corrected to give brightness lower than brightness defined by a command from the host device 2. Only brightness of pixels where the agreement state of color information continues, namely, display regions which have no changes in image and are less required to interest a user is appropriately limited to allow power consumption saving in a display device 1 alone, and brightness of pixels where the agreement state of color information is successively changed, namely, display regions which are more required to actually interest the user can be maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
