<p>The method involves providing a metal base plate (10) in a form of a section (11) made of a first material comprising titanium or/and titanium alloy and a metallic covering plate (20) made of a material comprising a metal selected from gold, platinum and palladium or/and an alloy comprising gold or platinum or palladium, where the plate has thickness (E) greater than or equal to 0.5 mm. The covering plate is soldered on the base plate in order to form a bi-metal blank. The blank is designed and/or machined to provide a final shape to a bi-metal clock covering component (100). An independent claim is also included for a bi-metal clock covering component.</p> |
