PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulletproof member capable of securing easy wearing by eliminating bulkiness, suppressing decline in the strength of high strength fiber and determining an unusable state. SOLUTION: Within a sealed storage space formed by jointing peripheral parts 2C, 3C of a back face sheet body 2 and a surface sheet body 3 to each other, a bulletproof sheet body 5 formed by laminating cloths 6 made of high strength fiber is stored. After air is exhausted from an exhaust port, the exhaust port is sealed to hold inside of the sealed storage space in the vacuum state. Thus, even when the number of the laminated cloths 6 is increased, this does not become bulky. Since the high strength fiber is stored within the sealed storage space kept in the vacuum state, decline in the strength caused by the used atmosphere can be eliminated. The bulletproof member is swollen when the vacuum state within the sealed storage space is broken. Therefore, the unusable state can be determined visually. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
