摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for evaluating impact resistance of a conveyor belt capable of accurately evaluating the impact resistance by setting a test sample to a condition approximating an use state at a field site. SOLUTION: A core body C exposed from a test sample CV in a lengthwise direction of a conveyor belt is stretched and is fixed by fixing means 4 and a lower surface of the test sample CV is supported by two supports 3 to set the test sample CV, and the impact resistance is evaluated using an arithmetic unit 14 on the basis of: detection data of an impact force sensor 13 which has detected fall impact force F due to collision of a freely dropped weight 8 against a drop position P on the test sample CV; detection data of tension T acting on the core body C, which has been detected by a tension sensor 12; a contact area S of a lower end of the weight 8 brought into contact with the test sample CV due to the free drop of the weight 8; and maximum tensile stress M of the core body C taken out from the test sample CV after the free drop of the weight 8.
