Disclosed is a vessel exhaust heat recovery system. The vessel exhaust heat recovery system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a turbine connected to a first flow path in which a first part of exhaust gas discharged by an engine flows; a compressor providing the engine with air compressed by the rotation force of the turbine; a heat exchanger delivering the heat of a second part of the exhaust gas flowing in a second flow path which is connected to the first flow path; a waste heat recovery unit which converts the thermal energy of a fluid into electronic energy; and a fail-processing unit which discharges the heat of the fluid or generates electronic energy in place of the waste heat recovery unit when the waste heat recovery unit malfunctions or does not work.
