An adjustment apparatus for adjusting the position or orientation of a piece of furniture relative to an upright surface comprising a first member 203 capable of being rotated and a second member 204 capable of longitudinal movement wherein the members are locatable within the furniture and are arranged to act upon the upright surface and wherein movement of the first member 203 causes the second member 204 to move. The device may fit in an aperture 213 in a piece of furniture 202. The first member 203 may have a spiral groove 208 in which a protrusion 212 on the second member sits. Cooperating teeth or a screw thread may alternatively be used to engage the two members and these may be positioned around a peripheral edge of the first member. The first member 203 may be rotated by using a slot which can be engaged by a screwdriver. The furniture may be a kitchen cabinet. |
