PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a more compact configuration in a battery unit comprising a chargeable/dischargeable battery and a board on which a component and the like constituting a circuit are mounted. SOLUTION: A battery unit (1) comprises: a battery (2) having a battery case (2a) whose parts function as a cathode terminal and an anode terminal respectively, and being configured to be chargeable/dischargeable; and a flexible board (3) on which a component for controlling charging of the battery (2) and a plurality of contacts (56) connected to the anode terminal and the cathode terminal of the battery case (2a) respectively are provided. The flexible board (3) is bent along the battery case (2a) so that the contacts (56) are directly connected to the cathode terminal and the anode terminal of the battery case (2a) respectively.
