摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated warehouse in which a workpiece can be carried in and out reliably between a framework shelf and a stacker crane. SOLUTION: The automated warehouse includes the framework shelf 2, the stacker crane 3, and a main controller. The stacker crane 3 includes a plurality of forks 3g1 advancing toward or retreating from the storing section 2a of the framework shelf 2; a sensor 9 provided between each of the plurality of forks 3g1 for sensing a large workpiece 10b in the storing section 2a; and a crane controller 4 for controlling the forks 3g1. A small workpiece is conveyed with one fork 3g1, and a large workpiece 10b is conveyed with two forks 3g1. The main controller sends an instruction signal containing information on the size of a workpiece 10 to the crane controller 4.
