A lane keeping assist system is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the lane keeping assist system comprises a front camera, a DSM device, and a control unit. The front camera films the front side of a vehicle and the DSM device judges driver′s condition by filming the driver in a vehicle. The control unit obtains information on a lane whereon the vehicle runs using the video about the front side of the vehicle, and determines or predicts a lane departure using the obtained information on the lane. The control unit differently controls the warning of the lane departure and lane keeping based on driver′s condition if the vehicle departures a current lane or is anticipated to departure the lane. |
