<p>A pair of swimming shorts comprises added adjustable buoyancy support from the lower waist to the knee area to provide a wearer with improved floatation in the water. Several small foam floats (figures 4, 5, 6) may be attached to the material of the shorts. The floats may be inserted into pockets sewn onto the front of the thigh area of each leg 1, the front of the lower waist area 2, the back of the thigh area of each leg 5 and the back of the left and right buttock areas 4. The floats preferably have a concave profile. Improved floatation provided by the shorts may help a wearer to attain a more natural horizontal body position in water.</p> |
