PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive weather seal device of a floating roof type tank capable of preventing rain water from penetrating into a floating roof type tank effectively and capable of being attached to the existing floating roof type tank easily, and to provide the floating roof type tank equipped with the weather seal device. SOLUTION: The weather seal device includes a plate-like elastic seal member 20 positioned and arranged on the outer surface of a seal guide 11b and having a rectangular shape and a predetermined thickness and a spring plate 40 positioned and arranged on the outer surface of the elastic seal member 20. The spring plate 40 and the elastic seal member 20 are attached to a weather hood 11 with a fixing tool 50.
