PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for a liquid-crystal dropping process quickly hardening the sealant by heating, capable of favorably preventing such a case that a sealant component is eluted in the liquid crystal to cause liquid crystal contamination in the manufacture of a liquid crystal display element by the dropping process, and capable of providing the liquid crystal display element with high display quality and high reliability, and to provide a vertically conducting material, and a liquid crystal display element.
