<p>Producing fiber preform by depositing reinforcing fiber bundles on a surface and/or reinforcing fiber bundles deposited on the surface, comprises e.g. supplying at least one continuous band-shaped strand (6) of reinforcing fibers provided with a binder, to a depositing head (1), spreading the continuous band-shaped strand, cutting the strand along its longitudinal extension, into at least two partial strands, cutting partial strands into a reinforcing fiber bundle defined length, and depositing the reinforcing fiber bundle on a surface and/or reinforcing fiber bundles deposited on the surface. Producing fiber preform by depositing reinforcing fiber bundles on a surface and/or reinforcing fiber bundles deposited on the surface, comprises (a) supplying at least one continuous band-shaped strand (6) of reinforcing fibers provided with a binder, which exhibits a strand width of 5 mm and a concentration of the binder of 2-70 wt.%, from a feed (4) to a depositing head (1), (b) spreading the continuous band-shaped strand in a spreading unit arranged on the depositing head, and conveying the strand in conveying direction by a first conveyor (8) arranged on the depositing head, to a longitudinal cutting device (12) arranged on the depositing head, (c) stabilizing the strand in the direction transverse to the conveying direction, (d) cutting the strand in the longitudinal cutting device along its longitudinal extension, into at least two partial strands using at least one separating element, (e) conveying the partial strands in the conveying direction by a second conveyor arranged on the depositing head, to a cutting unit arranged on the depositing head, (f) cutting the partial strands into a reinforcing fiber bundle defined length, by the cutting unit, and (g) depositing the reinforcing fiber bundle on a surface and/or reinforcing fiber bundles deposited on the surface, and fixing the reinforcing fiber bundle on the surface and/or the reinforcing fiber bundles deposited on the surface, for forming the fiber preform. A relative movement for load-oriented depositing of the reinforcing fiber bundle on the surface, is adjusted between the depositing head and the surface. An independent claim is also included for producing a fiber composite component using the fiber preform produced by the above method, comprising (i) introducing the fiber preform into a molding device, (ii) subjecting the fiber preform to pressure or vacuum and/or increased temperature to form the fiber composite component, (iii) cooling the fiber composite component, and (iv) removing the fiber composite component from the molding device.</p> |
