Electrode for intervention purposes

The electrode has a longitudinally elongated electrode body with distal and proximal ends. An electrode pole is provided in an area of the distal end for delivering an intervention pulse. A supply line runs in the electrode body in an isolated manner to the electrode pole that exhibits a material. An electrode casing made of another material surrounds the supply line. The materials are made such that the materials contain conductive particles in a concentration embedded in a polymer matrix, where the concentration is larger or equal to a percolation beam. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electrode.
