摘要 The present invention relates to a method of making assemblies of magnetized permanent magnets (1 to 3; 2 to 6) facing each other or from blocks of such magnets for generating strong magnetic fields and a large volume in a gap between such assemblies, wherein the method is characterized in that separate permanent magnets (1 to 3; 2 to 6) of at least two assemblies are forcibly inserted in a predetermined sequence and a predetermined mutual polarity into a non-magnetic hollow non-circular tube with open ends. First, a central magnet (1) with the pole direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the assembly being performed is inserted and set roughly in the required position into a separated independent lower tube, whereupon at least one lateral magnet (2, 3) is pushed simultaneously thereto from both the sides. The lateral magnet (2, 3) has poles parallel to the longitudinal axis of the assembly such that the lateral magnets (2, 3) of the lower assembly are turned toward the corresponding central magnet (1) with the same pole. After setting the magnets to each other, the lower assembly remains in contracted state, whereupon the upper assembly (4, 5, 6) is composed similarly as the lower assembly in the separated independent upper tube with the proviso that the lateral magnets are turned toward the central magnet (4) by the opposite pole if compared with the lower assembly. Subsequently, the entire assembly, assembled in the upper tube, is arranged with a predetermined maximal gap between the tubes using adjusting screws (18) opposite the lower assembly such that the axes of symmetry of the central magnets (1, 4) passing through the poles thereof are identical wherein the central magnets (1, 4) of the opposite assemblies are turned to each other by their opposite poles. Apparatus for making the above-described method is made of non-magnetic material and comprises at least two hollow non-circular tubes (9) with multiple times greater length if compared with the length of the assembled magnet assembly and the internal profile of which corresponds with a certain clearance to the external contour of the inserted magnets (1 to 3; 2 to 6) and which have at their each open end two fixedly attached clamping bases (10) provided each with an assembly surface for interception of a connecting element (16) for attaching a cross piece (11, 12) of the magnet pushing mechanism, which comprises an axially slidable magnet pressure rod (8) supported by the cross piece (11, 12) and reaching in the apparatus operating state into the tube (9). For setting the mutual distance of the opposite tubes (9) there is proposed an adjusting device, which is in the apparatus active state in functional contact with the cross pieces (11, 12) of the tubes (9), whereby guide sections (15) are attached to the lower tube at both the ends thereof by connecting elements (16) via the clamping bases (10). The other tube (9) is then arranged between said guide sections (15).
