PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of a heat pump device, having high heat dissipation properties of a heat sink. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit of the heat pump device includes: a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between outdoor air and a refrigerant; an blowing fan disposed at a position opposing to the heat exchanger and having a plurality of blades rotating around a rotation axis; a control board disposed outside the outer circumference of the blowing fan when viewed in the axial direction; and a heat sink having a base mounted on the control board, an extension extending from the base in a direction approaching the blowing fan, and a fin disposed in the extension.
