The present invention relates to a surgical thread and an apparatus for inserting a surgical thread and, more specifically, to a surgical thread compensating for the drawbacks of an existing protrusion thread, and integrating the strengths of a mono thread, to minimize side effects and pain and maximize therapeutic effects, and an apparatus for inserting a surgical thread. Provided is the surgical thread according to an embodiment of the present invention. The surgical thread comprises: a protrusion thread part having multiple protrusion part on the surface; and a mono thread part combined with at least one end of both ends of the protrusion part, wherein each protrusion part has a pair of cutting grooves recessed inside from the surface of the protrusion thread part arranged in a certain interval. |
