A structure for supporting a liquid cargo storage tank according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an insulation part installed between a hull and a liquid cargo storage tank; a gap adjustment part arranged under the insulation part; and a support part having a support and arranged under the gap adjustment part. The gap adjustment part comprises: a first plate; a second plate facing the first plate; a tension member crossing a gap between the first and second spaces; and slope blocks inclined to have a width gradually narrowed inward so that the gap between the first and second plates can be adjusted while the tension member penetrates and enters into the gap. After the entire height of the structure for supporting a liquid cargo storage tank according to the present invention is primarily adjusted by a filler member, the height can be reset by the gap adjustment part to make the structure come in contact with the liquid cargo storage tank. Thus, the present invention can be installed between the liquid cargo storage tank and the hull at a proper height to stably support the liquid cargo storage tank.
