The present invention relates to a pumping device which is a part used to adjust the height of a vehicle seat. The pumping device comprises a support plate having a round receiving part which has a predetermined width in the axial direction; a brake cam forming a plurality of receiving spaces in the circumferential direction between the brake cam and the inner circumferential part of the receiving part; a locking means received in the receiving spaces to unlock or lock a rotating motion of the brake cam; a control plate having a control protrusion which is formed at one side to press the locking means in the circumferential direction and a round rim part which is formed at the other side and has teeth on the inner circumference; a bidirectional clutch gear engaged with or released from the teeth inside the rim part; a lever plate for rotating the bidirectional clutch gear; and an elastically returning means for returning the lever plate. Therefore, the pumping device can minimize a space necessary for operation and can be easily operated by small power. |
