The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to output periodicity beep using a digital signal processor (DSP). According to the present invention, the apparatus to output periodicity beep using a DSP does not repeatedly output sound source stored in a non-volatile memory to produce periodicity beep of a vehicle. Instead, the apparatus is characterized in producing periodicity beep of a vehicle using a DSP without the non-volatile memory. According to the present invention, the apparatus is capable of: preventing pop noise from being generated by mute controlling an output channel in a sign wave generator when the periodicity beep repeats; mixing a plurality of frequencies when generating sign waves; tuning output levels and frequencies by a software according to the interior space of a vehicle, especially, having the advantage of not necessarily storing a sound source for the periodicity beep; and furthermore, the apparatus can integrate electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) about the beep, a sound source integrated circuit (IC) and a volume IC into one DSP to have the effects of reducing the size of the product. |
