PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carpet for an automobile, which has air permeability and is excellent in sound absorbing properties, at a low price. SOLUTION: The carpet for an automobile, which is excellent in productivity and has sound absorbing properties, is obtained by fusing and extruding thermoplastic resin in a film shape by a T die extruder, and pressing the thermoplastic resin and a skin material layer between a cooling roll having many recesses and a pressurizing roll while overlapping them, thereby forming an adhesive resin layer having many projections.
