PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To naturally train an infant or the like on daily habits while playing. SOLUTION: The sound output toy 10 includes: a flushing Western toilet toy 2 to be used in combination with a hug me doll; a switch unit 7 provided on the flushing Western toilet toy 2 and configured to operate in conformation to an infant's playing action on daily habits; and a voice output unit 8 provided on the flushing Western toilet toy 2 and configured to output a voice corresponding to the switch unit 7 upon operation of the switch unit 7. In the voice output toy 10, since a voice corresponding to the infant's playing action on daily habits is output when the infant plays using the hug me doll, the infant can feel if he/she has a conversation with the doll while playing and can be physically affectionate with the doll.
