PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of suppressing impairment of amusement. SOLUTION: A prescribed entrance lottery is executed based on reception of a game ball entering a receiving hole. A prescribed entrance hole which is usually closed is opened based on a specific result obtained by an entrance lottery means, so that entrance of the game ball into the prescribed entrance hole is permitted. The game ball entering the prescribed entrance hole is used for a gimmick lottery executed in such a mode that the process of the lottery can be visually recognized. When the gimmick lottery is won, a jackpot game is executed. After the jackpot game is terminated, the game is controlled in an advantageous state in which the gimmick lotteries are more frequently executed than in a regular state, and the game is further controlled in a low-frequency lottery state thereafter. In the low-frequency lottery state, the gimmick lottery is executed so that the lottery is won at a higher expectation value than in the regular state in such a mode as to be hardly recognized by a player.
