PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tread improving gripping performance, wear-resistance and rolling resistance characteristic in sufficient balance, and a pneumatic tire having a tread using it. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tread includes a rubber component and an aromatic vinyl polymer, and the rubber component contains 5-60 mass% of a butadiene rubber containing a 1,2-syndiotactic polybutadiene crystal. In the aromatic vinyl polymer, the glass transition temperature is 10°C or lower and the content of an aromatic vinyl monomer unit is 95 mass% or higher. In the rubber composition for tread, the content of the aromatic vinyl polymer is 5-100 pts.mass relative to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
