[Also in Division D1] A bearing for a spinning, twisting and winding machine is carried by a support 2 which has an aperture, comprising a partcylindrical portion 20 and a radial opening 22, therein. The portion 20 encloses at least 240 degrees of the circumference of a bush 19 mounted therein and may be lined with lead alloy or synthetic plastics material for example. The radial opening 22 is wider than a shaft 18 mounted in said bush 19 and narrower than the latter. The bush 19 may be held in position by a pin 23, for example, and may be split. |
