The present invention relates to a method and a system for processing and transmitting location information in an emergency situation using a smart device. The method and the system for processing and transmitting location information in an emergency situation using a smart device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a step of setting emergency button in a user terminal; a step of obtaining the position information of a user by using GPS or WIFI; and a step of transmitting the received position information of the user.
