Indium tin oxide powder is used for a transparent conductive thin film of a solar battery, a touch panel, etc., and whether it is used in the solar cell or the touch panel, a low refractive index is required. The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a low refractive index by having indium tin oxide powder with true density within a specific range and a specific surface area within a specific range. To achieve the purpose, the present invention provides indium tin oxide powder having 5.75-6.80g/cm^3 of true density measured by a pycnometer by a gas substitution method using helium gas and 2-100m^2/g of a specific surface area by a BET method. The indium tin oxide powder can be used for a composition for a transparent conductive thin film and can produce a transparent conductive film with a low refractive index. |
