The superstructure of a ship according to the present invention includes multiple superstructures spaced in a longitudinal direction of a ship body at appropriate intervals, wherein the spaces between the multiple superstructures run from the upper end of the superstructure to the upper end of a deck in order to have the spaces reduce the bending stress of the superstructure appearing when the hull is being bent by external force such as waves. At the lower end of the spaces, a stress distributing hole larger than the width of the spaces is formed at the lower end of the spaces. The spaces are not filled with any filling materials. A water-preventing plate is installed in the superstructure facing the spaces in order to prevent sea water or rainwater from coming in the superstructure through the spaces.
