The present invention relates to a method for preparing herboxidiene using Streptomyces chromofuscus, and more specifically, to a culture medium of Streptomyces chromofuscus strain and a cultivation method for improving productivity of herboxidiene. A culture medium and a cultivation method according to the present invention increase productivity of herboxidiene so that the produced herboxidiene can be effectively applied to an agricultural field and a medical field for herbicide, anti-cancer drug, etc.
