Provided is an advertisement distribution method that determines the distribution destination for advertisements for products having little direct relationship to execution information collected from devices. This advertisement distribution method includes: a collection step in which execution information indicating functions executed by each household appliance is collected from at least one household appliance owned by each of a plurality of users; a detection step in which collected execution information and the functions of each household appliance are analyzed, for each of the plurality of users, and unused functions are detected; and a transmission step in which users anticipated to purchase a product on the basis of the detection results are extracted, and advertisements are sent to the household appliances owned by the extracted users.
