PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of reducing luminance variations caused by temperature variations.SOLUTION: Write processing is performed by a control circuit 40 and a drive circuit 20 with respect to one light emitting element among light emitting elements 34 in respective intersection points between a plurality of scan lines 35 and a plurality of signal lines 36, and thereby a current is flowed to the one light emitting element to cause it to emit light. Then, before reset processing is performed on the one light emitting element, the reset processing is performed on the one light emitting element synchronizing reset processing on another light emitting element among the light emitting elements 34 in the respective intersection points. Accordingly, a PWM control is performed for shortening a period during which a current flows in the one light emitting element. The PWM control enables display in which the luminance of the light emitting elements 34 appear to be reduced, and the luminance variations caused by temperature variations of the light emitting elements 34 are reduced. |
