PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve recording image quality by securing uniform pressing force of a developing roller to a photoreceptor drum, in a recording device in which a developing unit is configured so as to be freely attachable to/detachable from and rotatable with respect to a photoreceptor unit.SOLUTION: The recording device comprises a pressing force adjusting mechanism 80 for adjusting pressing force of a developing roller 29 to a photoreceptor drum 20 by an elastic member 34. Thereby, the pressing force of the developing roller 29 pressed against the photoreceptor drum 20 by energizing force from the elastic member 34 can be changed and adjusted. Therefore, even when variations in diameter dimension of the developing roller 29 exist, or even when a change in elastic force of the elastic member 34 occurs, this contributes to the improvement in recording image quality of the recording device and an image forming apparatus comprising the recording device, by applying proper pressing force corresponding thereto to the developing roller 29. |
