PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a collision between a building and a retaining wall in a base-isolated building.SOLUTION: A base-isolated building 10 comprises: a base 11; a seismic isolator 12 arranged in the base 11; and a building 13 arranged on the seismic isolator 12. Here, the seismic isolator 12 allows the building 13 to horizontally move with respect to the base 11. The base 11 has a retaining wall 11a which is provided so as to face at least a part of a side wall 13a of the building 13 while having a space therebetween. The base-isolated building 10 has an impact absorption member 14 formed of rubber, which is provided at least one of the side wall 13a of the building 13 and the retaining wall 11a in a portion at which the side wall 13a of the building 13 and the retaining wall 11a face each other. |
