COATED PAPER FOR PRINTING AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper for printing containing high amount of kraft pulp, having bulkiness and high whiteness in spite of low coating weight, excellent in printed surface touch, high in opacity and good in printing workability.SOLUTION: Coated paper for printing has one or more coated layer containing a pigment and an adhesive on a base paper and satisfies all following (1) to (5). (1) Containing kraft pulp on the base paper of 50 wt.% or more based on dry weight of all pulp. (2) Containing an organic compound having inhibition effects on binding between pulp fibers on the base paper. (3) The single side coating amount of the coated layer is 0.5 to 5 g/m. (4) A density of the coated paper for printing is 0.70 g/cmor less. (5) An ash content of the coated paper for printing is 10 wt.% or more.
