PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict deterioration of fuel consumption and combustion performance or the like due to excessive split injection while reducing an amount of adhering fuel through a normal split injection.SOLUTION: A starting time IT1_A of a split injection at an intake stroke is determined in response to an amount of intake air and an engine speed (S103). In turn, when a cooling water temperature TW becomes more than a prescribed water temperature K_TW, a completion time IT1_B is forwarded more as compared with that its value is lower than the prescribed water temperature K_TW (S104) and a total injection period IT1 is calculated in reference to the starting time IT1_A and the completion time IT1_B (S105). In addition, a split injection pulse period IT1_SP(n) is calculated (S108) on the basis of a required injection period IT_REQ (S106) and the number of times of split injection I_TIMES (S107), and further a split injection dormant period IT1_RES(n) is calculated (S109). Then, in the case where the split injection dormant period IT1_RES(n) is shorter than a requested dormant period RES_K, the number of times of split injection I_TIMES is reduced (S111→S113). |
