PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card key in which a battery cover can be easily removed and, even if shocked, the battery cover can be prevented from being removed unexpectedly.SOLUTION: A battery cover 5 is mounted to a card key body 2 by engaging engagement projections 20a, 20b of the battery cover 5 with engagement recesses 22a, 22b of the card key body 2. Engagement abutting surfaces 25, 26 of the engagement recesses 22a, 22b and the engagement projections 20a, 20b which are engaged with each other are formed from a surface which extends at an angle of 90° with respect to a slide direction X1-X2 of the battery cover 5, and the card key body 2 includes relief slopes 23a, 23b which enable the battery cover 5 to be pulled out by allowing a first end side portion 5a to be bent while avoiding interference with a second end side portion 5b of the battery cover 5. Thus, an operation for removing the battery cover 5 can be easily performed and, even if shocked, the battery cover 5 can be prevented from being removed unexpectedly. |
