PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of detecting position information with high accuracy without relying on a change in the DC power supply voltage of an inverter.SOLUTION: Provided is a motor controller equipped with an inverter circuit for converting DC power to AC power, a controller for outputting a drive signal to drive the inverter circuit, a motor driven by the inverter circuit, and a load connected to the motor, the inverter circuit being based on a 120-degree conduction scheme, wherein the motor controller is provided with open-phase electromotive voltage detection means for detecting a terminal voltage in a phase which is set to be a non-conducting phase during 120-degree conduction, and inverter power supply voltage detection means for detecting an inverter power supply voltage. When a ratio of detected values obtained by the open-phase electromotive voltage detection means and the inverter power supply voltage detection means has exceeded a conduction mode switching threshold referenced for switching the conducting phases of 120-degree conduction from one to another, the motor controller switches over the conducting phases of 120-degree conduction. |
